Medical Marketing Firm Etna Interactive Wins 3 Davey Awards
A California medical marketing firm has been awarded one Gold and two Silver Davey Awards for its medical Web site design and development work in 2007.
San Luis Obispo, CA, January 2008 — To top a tremendous year of growth and innovation, Etna Interactive recently was awarded a 2007 Gold Davey Award and two 2007 Silver Davey Awards in the Website category from the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an invitation-only member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts. A medical marketing firm providing its clients with medical Web site design and development, Etna is pleased to have been selected for such recognition out of over 4,000 entries from creative firms in the United States and around the world. The Davey Awards honor high-quality creative work in many categories produced by smaller companies worldwide.
"I'm delighted that the IAVA recognized some of our best Web sites this year," said Ryan Miller, president of Etna Interactive, a medical marketing firm with clients across the United States. "The Daveys are all about small creative companies making a big impact, and we work in that same spirit to provide our clients with personal attention combined with high-caliber professional results."
Etna Interactive won its Gold award for the medical Web site design and development work the company completed for Dr. Evan Sorokin, a New Jersey plastic surgeon and founder of Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery. The Web site, located at www.delawarevalleyplasticsurgery.com, stands out from its competitors not only through a bold and alluring site design, but also in the quality of its content, which is earning the doctor extremely high positioning in the search engines only 6 months after site launch.
Etna also won two Silver awards for the medical Web site development and design of two additional client sites. By partnering with Etna, Western Cardiovascular Associates (www.westerncardio.com) was able to put together a clean site design with detailed information on the latest cardiovascular surgery options and a compelling flash feature that emphasizes the practice's three specially-trained cardiovascular surgeons .
Also, Etna is delighted to be recognized for its work on www.stopafib.org, a Web site the company created to help Mellanie True Hills, a health advocate and survivor of emergency heart surgery, to spread the message about atrial fibrillation treatment. The site serves as an online information resource that encourages men and women to learn more about this condition, which affects over 5 million Americans.
"The panel of judges at the IAVA has selected some of our best medical marketing efforts this year," added Mr. Miller. "And as we transition into the New Year, I know that the entire team at Etna Interactive looks forward to developing more attractive designs that offer innovations in the field and help our clients achieve their marketing goals."
