To apply, please submit your résumé (PDF preferred). We will ask the most compelling candidates to complete an at-home skills assessment; exceptional performance on the assessment will earn you an interview.

What will I do?

Lead a team of marketing professionals.

At Etna Interactive we have teams of Marketing Specialists led by Marketing Operations Supervisors who work together to strategically develop marketing plans for our clients and execute the projects they determine will meet each client’s goals.

As a Marketing Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Develop professionals.
    • Be the leader and role model your team can count on, guiding them as they progress in their marketing and professional careers.
    • Connect your team with resources that help build their technical and soft skills.
  • Build brands.
    • Represent our clients, directly and indirectly, as your team manages their social media and strengthens their reputations through online platforms, refining their voices.
    • Develop our coaching products to help our clients achieve marketing milestones.
    • Research clients’ competitors to better understand the landscape and how to most effectively position them.
  • Measure success.
    • Assist in the improvement of existing products, and guide your team in product development to improve our results.
    • Assist your team in tracking KPIs through the life of clients’ marketing plans, adjusting strategy as necessary to stay on target and achieve client goals.

What should I know?

We do uncommonly good work.

Because our firm has made big a name for itself in the medical marketing space our clients expect and truly deserve the attention of an experienced professional.

As a Marketing Operations Supervisor, you must:

  • Be skilled in the basics.
    • Have knowledge and experience using Windows Operating System, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Know your resources including common web browsers, web sites such as Google Analytics and Wayback Machine.
    • Have a healthy obsession with details and processes, with an understanding of and appreciation for the law of diminishing returns.
  • Be a marketer.
    • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related area of study.
    • Resourcefully get the results you seek – delegating, training, and prioritizing as needed.
    • Know the tools in your toolbox – know what you need to do to get the results you seek, and if we don’t already offer it as a product, take ownership of creating it.
    • Understand and appreciate how paid media plays into the marketing picture.
  • Be motivated by supervising people.
    • Feel accomplished through teaching others.
    • Recognize when your team is teaching you lessons to carry into your future.
    • Understand that supervising is much like managing and you’re always on a stage – set an example and always look for solutions, leading others optimistically.
    • Be comfortable with what you don’t know and understand that doing the work is only a portion of your responsibilities – get the fundamentals but see the bigger picture in your responsibilities.
  • Be professional.
    • Communicate and work with team members and clients in a positive and productive manner.
    • Own your team’s responsibilities by helping to establish, adapt, and communicate timelines.
    • Build positive relationships and maintain a sense of humor.
    • Be agile and able to “think on your feet” while managing competing priorities.

What will I learn?

Competitive ping pong skills.

(Yes, we have a ping pong table and an ongoing competition. But seriously, you’ll learn as much as you have aptitude to undertake.)

In a world that’s constantly evolving, we embrace change as opportunity to learn and develop our skills, products, and services.

As a Marketing Operations Supervisor, you will learn:

  • Resourcefulness.
    • Thinking outside the box and bridging creative solutions with systems and processes.
    • Fostering a clear mind through patience and focus while operating under urgency.
    • Managing competing priorities while staying on top of multiple details.
  • Collaboration.
    • How the talents of others outside the marketing department can integrate with the projects inside the department.
    • When to contribute your own skills and work with others, tapping into their strengths to achieve clients’ goals.
  • Expertise.
    • Learn and train others through our skills matrix on a range of tactics, including link building, local SEO, social media, paid search, and communication to develop “T-shaped” marketers on your team and discover your own marketing passion.
    • Utilize resources including attending conferences to expand your knowledge and bring new learning back to Etna.
    • Do the best work of your career because you are surrounded by professionals who will support you and help you along the way.

Why Etna?

In addition to the cool office and frequent perks, including Friday happy hours and an in-house arcade, you’ll receive:

  • Employer-sponsored medical coverage
  • A 401(K) plan with an employer matching component
  • Employer-sponsored long-term disability insurance
  • Paid vacation and holidays

There’s also the invaluable benefit of working in a comfortable, casual environment, surrounded by great people who work hard and play hard (just wait until you witness our dodgeball skills).

We will ask the most compelling candidates to complete an at-home skills assessment; exceptional performance on the assessment will earn you an interview.

We have a special interest in finding candidates with excellent organization and communication skills. While a strong skill set, and innate intelligence will get you in the door, a kind personality and the ability to fit in with our team here at Etna are necessary traits of a successful applicant.
