Etna Interactive, a remote-first marketing agency based in San Luis Obispo, CA, is hiring a *remote Marketing Specialist. If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional, full-time digital marketing role and are looking to take your digital marketing skills to the next level, we want to hear from you! What does a Marketing Specialist at Etna do?
You’ll contribute to client success through a mix of SEO, local search, link building, reputation management, and performance analysis. You’ll solve problems, identify opportunities, and help our clients grow.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will:
Build their brand.
- Boost their visibility.
- Improve organic and local rankings by building backlinks, optimizing Google Business Profiles, and executing well-informed SEO strategies.
- Help clients stand out through effective reputation management—coaching them on best practices for handling reviews and using Etna’s tools.
- Strengthen our strategy.
- Dive into analytics to spot trends and opportunities across third-party profiles, reputation channels, and earned media efforts.
- Collaborate across departments to align your work with other client-facing strategies.

Salary:
The estimated hourly range for this role is $23.00 – $27.00 an hour. However, it is important to note that compensation may vary depending on several factors, primarily including the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications. At Etna Interactive, we strive to offer competitive compensation packages that align with industry standards and reflect the value of the skills and expertise that candidates bring to the table. The final compensation offered will be determined based on a comprehensive assessment of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, educational background, demonstrated skills and abilities, and the specific requirements of the position.
