Everything from high-value link building to social media advertising to email production to technical tasks. And then some.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Amplify their voice.
    • Represent our clients as you manage their social media and strengthen their reputations through online platforms.
    • Execute SEO to improve organic and local rankings through building backlinks, optimizing GBPs, strengthening reputation, and conducting thorough keyword research for targeted content optimization.
    • Magnify our efforts by coaching clients to be most effective with their internal marketing efforts.
  • Generate opportunities.
    • Understand the multiple channels working together for each client and the best ways to integrate them.
    • Collaborate and CRO everything – test, prove, and improve it all, from landing pages to third party profiles to site pages and so much more.
  • Grow at your pace.
    • Discover something that doesn’t make sense? Ask questions & dig in. Increase your understanding or resolve a problem.
    • Have an idea for a product that would fulfill a need? Pitch it and sell the product team on it so you can bring it to life.
    • Do you value title and role growth? Work with your leaders to develop your skills and request a promotion when you’re ready.

Ideally, a new Marketing Specialist will have a solid foundation of digital marketing knowledge and experience. They know what SEO is, why it’s important, and how to affect it. The most successful Etnans stay curious and like solving the many challenges and puzzles that come our way.

Marketing Specialists work both independently and collaboratively on the execution of the marketing. They provide recommendations and strategic input while primarily staying focused on project completion to achieve and exceed our clients’ marketing goals.

What will I learn?

  • How to use a good pun.
  • More than you ever imagined about the plastic surgery world.
  • Collaboration, resourcefulness, and expertise.
  • Cross-training on a range of tactics, including link building, local SEO, social media, paid search, and communication — with the goal of developing into a “T-shaped marketer” (Google it).

We embrace change as opportunity to learn and develop our skills, products, and services.

Why should Etna choose you?

Because our small agency has made a big name for itself in the medical marketing space, our clients expect and truly deserve the attention of an experienced professional.

To be an Etnan, you must…

    • Own your responsibilities by establishing, adapting, and communicating timelines.
    • Build positive relationships and maintain a sense of humor and optimistic attitude.
    • Be agile and able to “think on your feet” while managing competing priorities.
    • Recognize where and how to add value to projects and proactively participate.
  • Be skilled in the basics.
    • Have knowledge and experience using Windows Operating System, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. (Or be a proactive fast learner!)
    • Know your resources including common web browsers, web sites such as Google Analytics and Wayback Machine.
    • Have a healthy obsession with details and processes, with an understanding of and appreciation for the law of diminishing returns.
  • Be a marketer.
    • While a degree in marketing is great, relevant work experience is even better.
    • Ask good questions.
    • Bring solutions – to Etna, to our clients, and to their patients.

We will ask the most compelling candidates to complete an at-home skills assessment; exceptional performance on the assessment will earn you an interview.
