Do you have a mind for creativity, a desire to help small businesses grow and mastery to create uncommonly good work? The Senior Web Designer supports the Creative Department and our clients by providing an array of well-articulated visual solutions. This creative and analytical designer works with the creative team to communicate the message of our diverse client base to their consumers through pixel-perfect desktop and mobile design as well as UI/UX implementation. The role requires an excellent communicator that is interested in the intersection between design, content, business and marketing.

You must have exceptional technical, organizational and communication skills and be a great team player. Since most of our clients are medical professionals, you’ll also need to balance continued learning about website projects with a barrage of new medical concepts.

While a well-developed skill set and innate intelligence will get you in the door, a great personality that complements our team is a must. We’re a staff of over-achievers and life-long learners; still, we manage to squeeze fun into the mix every chance we get.

Must Haves:

Our firm has made a big name for itself in the medical marketing space, our clients expect and deserve the attention of a professional with:

  • Proven Expertise: BA/BS degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field. In lieu of degree, 4+ years’ experience in an agency environment; or equivalent. Previous background should include demonstrated ability to deal with customers/clients, responsive web design and current design standards: expert use of Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, web fonts (Adobe and Google fonts), browser inspector tools, and demonstratable understanding of HTML, CSS, UX, and SEO.
  • Leadership: Right-hand person to the Creative Services Manager in the design world. Possess a level head, real world experience and the ability to combine these two sides of you to create ideas that make you and your team proud, and our client successful. You react and adapt quickly and professionally when change is needed, and you’ve been doing this long enough to know not to take it personally.
  • Mentorship: Collaboration and mentorship within your team and across departments in our full-service agency is critical. The ability to elevate designs within your team and to also translate and work with others with a wide range of understanding.
  • Superb Communication Skills: Communicates internally creating a professional, positive and collaborative environment. Takes initiative of own ideas in meetings and helps spark creative ideas within the group. Confidently presents creative work to clients and takes constructive criticism well staying curious to understand the problem and keep solution-minded. Has professional and polished verbal and written communication skills for both internally as well as externally facing messages.
  • A Keen Eye for Detail: Operates in a highly detailed and organized manner in one’s own work with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Natural Ability to Cultivate Creativity: Leads creative brainstorming and conversation with confidence, collaboration and enhanced creativity. Demonstrates ability to develop as well as evaluate several options and implement solutions.
  • Problem Solver: Excellence in collaborating with peers to solve problems that may arise, both from a creative and technical standpoint. You know how to solve a multitude of problems, and when you don’t know, you’re eager to roll up your sleeves and figure it out.
