And the winner is…Dr. Mark E. Freeman!
During the 2013 ASAPS conference in New York, we held an auction for the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF). ASERF is a nonprofit research group whose mission is to identify and pursue those issues relevant to the advancement, effectiveness and safety of aesthetic surgery.
Each participating vendor hosted a silent auction at their booth to generate bids for their services; all the money raised went to support ASERF. As the high bidder, Dr. Freeman won 30K+ of our services.
Dr. Freeman believes the benefits of winning the auction are twofold.
“I’m helping an incredibly important research organization for aesthetic surgeons, with the added bonus of receiving a discounted price on marketing services from Etna Interactive,” said Dr. Freeman.
ASERF president, Dr. Joe M. Gryskiewicz, was beyond impressed with the silent auction results.
“The ASERF silent auction was a great success, and really a win-win for all involved,” said Dr. Gryskiewicz. “We could not have done it without all of our generous donors, and hope that this is the first of many silent auctions in ASERF’s future.”
Etna was able to raise $25,500 for ASERF, making us the highest fundraiser in the marketing category!
Etna’s president, Ryan Miller, was happy to help.
“When ASERF approached me about the auction, I jumped at the opportunity to help out,” said Miller. “Having worked with doctors in the aesthetic industry for over a decade, I know how important ASERF is to their specialty.”
We’d also like to send a special thanks to all of the doctors who participated.
